Waterdown/ End of the first leg
OH.....MY......GOD!!! We have had so so much fun in the last 24 hours its unbelievable. Have come to Waterdown to visit Heaths famillle and they're all so so lovely.
Heaths cousin Chris came to collect us from le hostel (thanks again) and the fun started pretty much non stop from there. We've had a real taste of authentic Canada, including toboganning (more about that later) singstar (yes they DO have singstar in Canada Ms Kidd- apologies again about the early morning wake up call haha) and a night out in a local pub....With all the action we've seen over the last day we should be getting a decent enough sleep on the bus but excitement could possibly get the better of us.
We had lunch with Heaths uncle and aunt in ther home which is so so beatiful (and completely surrounded by snow :o) then went for a walk in the town. Im very excited because I bought a book by Joyce but unsure about how Im going to be carrying it around with me lol.
We spent a few hours chilling and went for dinner with Heaths cousin Emma and her boyfriend Nick who are both really lovely too. Met up with Chris and then went to their friends for some singstar (apologies you the singstar crew at home, we havent forgotten about you just thought we'd go international for one night only haha)
We partied like rockstars (well, ish haha)and tried some new drinks. We've some lovely moments captured on permanent playback...we are of course talking about the snow haha
Everyone we've met in Canada has been really lovely and today had a brunch with more of H's famille followed by toboganning. Could be our first and only time, Im surprised you couldn't all hear the screams from over there lol.
Coming to Waterdown has been a great end to the first leg of our trip and we hope the rest of it goes as well.
To the Walkers/ Nick and everybody we've met in Waterdow- Thanks we've had an ace time, thankyou :o)
2nd leg starts tonight with the eagerly anticipated bus ride (queue more video montages hahaha)
